We act as external legal counsel to businesses, associations and organisations, with experience gained inside the legal department of a large group and within public bodies. We take on both the day-to-day advisory work and the specialist areas set out below.

A small or medium-sized business rarely needs a legal department of its own. What it does need is a lawyer who knows how one thinks. Five years inside the legal department of a large group means we have seen contracts, tenders and corporate procedures from the inside. We know what the other side will look for, where a bid comes unstuck, and what a contracting authority will ask for.

We work either matter by matter or as standing external counsel on a monthly basis. In aviation law we hold a specialisation that is uncommon in the Greek market, covering air passenger rights, charter agreements and aviation leasing.

Frequently asked questions

Which corporate form should I choose?

It depends on tax, on liability and on the relationship between the participants. The IKE, a private company with limited liability and no minimum capital, is often the flexible starting point, but it does not suit everyone. We look at it with your accountant before you incorporate.

Do you offer a standing monthly arrangement?

Yes. We act as an external legal department for businesses and associations, covering contracts, opinions and representation, on a predictable basis.

I have been excluded from a public tender. What options do I have?

The deadlines are very short, as a rule ten days for a pre-contractual appeal. The exclusion decision and the prospects of an appeal need to be assessed immediately.
